I'm Rysia. I spent most of my life on a chain. I was mistreated, starved, and beaten. Multiple injuries led to hydrocephalus and acquired epilepsy. I've been living in a foster home for a while now, where I've learned that I don't have to be afraid of outstretched hands anymore. I can feel free, run, bask in the sun, and enjoy every day. I've regained my joy, and thanks to ongoing treatment, I can live without pain. It would be nice if I received a package just for me for the holidays; I would feel special.
